ICCA STROKE 2017 ACUTE STROKE INTERVENTIONS AND CAROTID STENTING March 24 - 25, 2017 | Moscow | Russia
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS AND CASES
Dear Colleagues,
ICCA Stroke 2017 on March 24-25 in Moscow, Russia, will focus on carotid stenting and catheter interventions in acute stroke. Endovascular clot removal is emerging as the first line treatment in selected patients and new trials demonstrate overwhelming benefit compared to conventional medical treatment. At the same time, new trial results are supporting stent implantation in patients with carotid stenosis.
This conference brings together all those who have an interest in acute stroke management and intervention (neuroradiologists, radiologists, stroke physicians, neurologists, cardiologists and interventional neurosurgeons) as well as emergency medical services and stroke nurses.
A main focus of this course will again be interactive case presentations. Submit your own acute stroke or carotid stenting cases and discuss them with leading experts in the field! The cases may include anatomical obstacles, device-specific challenges or dealing with complications. The scientific committee also welcomes abstract submissions in the field of catheter-based acute stroke interventions. Accepted abstracts will be presented as lectures or posters. Presenters of posters will receive a discount on registration. The registration fee will be waived for the presenting authors of abstracts chosen for lectures.
Please note the submission deadline is January 9th, 2017!
After attending ICCA Stroke and passing the exam, WIST members are eligible for participation in a certified advanced stroke-training program including clinical observation and hands-on simulator training. Learn more >>
