APAMI consists of national level member Health Informatics associations affiliated with International Medical Informatics Association (IMIA) from the Asia Pacific Region. While currently the following countries are represented - Australia, China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, New Zealand, The Phillippines, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam, we hope to involve others too through special incentives.

IAMI is India's representative in IMIA/APAMI. AIIMS is India's most prestigious medical establishment.

The theme of the conference 'Health IT solutions for improving Patient care' aims to encourage Researchers, Clinicians, Practitioners, Scientists, Healthcare professionals and Healthcare IT vendors from across the Asia-Pacific region and the world to cooperate, share knowledge and experience about how to apply information technology to improve the Healthcare status of the people.
