Social project “Care is…”

Last year Russian Society of Cardiology launched a social project "Care is..." aimed at prevention of cardiovascular diseases, promotion of healthy lifestyle and care for each other.

Within the project RSC created postcards with painted characters looking like those in the popular "Love is..." series. Each postcard is called “Care is…” and consists of a cute image and explanation – advice of cardiologist revealing the essence of care for each other. Painted characters show which small and simple steps can be taken in order to lead a healthier lifestyle. On the back of each postcard there is a place for stamp and address.

The project had its start during the Russian National Congress of Cardiology in St. Petersburg. Participants had an opportunity to sign a postcard and send it to their relatives and friends. All expenses were covered by the Society.
 

In 2018 the project was extended. Images from the postcards migrated to magnets. Thus, it became a perfect souvenir and a good reminder to take care of each other and make small changes in the lifestyle to stay active and healthy.
