Russian National Congress of Cardiology 2016: Healthy Heart Walk

On the threshold of the Russian National Congress of Cardiology in Ekaterinburg, a mass social event “Healthy Heart Walk” took place on September 19th.

Nearly 2,000 people joined the walk and supported the RSC initiative to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Ministry of Health of the Sverdlovsk region decided to remind citizens and visitors of the city that movement is life and regular physical activity is a good prevention of cardiovascular diseases.

Doctors and medical workers, students, sportsmen, Nordic walkers, journalists and common citizens joined the action on the central streets of Ekaterinburg.

The procession was led by the RSC President Evgeny Shlyakhto, director of the Ural Institute of Cardiology Ian Gabinsky, well-known scientists and sportsmen.
