Joint Russian-Turkish Symposium within the Congress

Russian Society of Cardiology and Turkish Cardiovascular Academy Society held a joint session within the Russian National Congress of Cardiology in Saint-Petersburg.

The symposium was dedicated to the anticoagulation approaches in patients with atrial fibrillation. The speakers were from Ankara, Istanbul and Saint-Petersburg (Almazov Centre).

The Turkish delegation included more nearly 100 doctors. The symposium was held in three languages: English, Russian and Turkish. It was a great success: no free seats in the meeting room were available.

All participants noted the friendly atmosphere and were opened to plan future cooperation.
