Joint session of the European Heart Rhythm Association and the Russian Society of Cardiology

It is a great honour and pleasure for European Heart Rhythm Association (EHRA ESC) to organize joint session with the Arrhythmias Working Group of the Russian Society of Cardiology. During our session, we would like to focus on arrhythmia management for patients with heart failure. Both international and Russian speakers of this session are leaders in non- and invasive approach to arrhythmias of heart failure patients. Tom de Potter (Belgium), co-chair of EHRA National Societies Committee, will present current data for AF catheter ablation of HF patients. Michal Chudzik (Poland), co-director of EHRA ESC Education Committee, responsible for courses in Central and Eastern Europe, will focus on diagnosis and pharmacotherapy of patients with AF. Josef Kautzner (Czech Republic), one of the best World EP specialists, will show clinical benefits for ablation ventricular arrhythmias.

Dmitry Duplyakov (Russia) will demonstrate, what are conditions for choosing pharmacotherapy and Alexander Romanov (Russia) will report, how to prevent stroke for AF patients, who are reluctant to anticoagulants.
