Conference on developing professional standards

On March 3rd, 2016 there was held a work meeting of the Russian Ministry of Health, National Medical Chamber and professional societies on developing professional standards for medical doctors of different specialties. This is the key document within the new system of continuing medical education that defines working duties for doctors. On the basis of this document the new educational standard for specialty training will be prepared.

RSC organized a working group on developing the first professional draft of the document (G.P. Arutyunov, D.V. Duplyakov, A.V. Kontsevaya, S.T. Matskeplishvili, S.S. Yakushin). Then the first draft will be presented for discussion and correction of the wide range of experts and will be posted on the RSC website. Finalized version of the standard on cardiology will be sent for approval to the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Labour and Social Protection.
