Call for Participation in ESC Guidelines Task Forces
In 2024, the European Society of Cardiology will release four updated Clinical Practice Guidelines, which will cover the topics:
- atrial fibrillation
- arterial hypertension
- chronic coronary syndromes
- peripheral arterial and aortic diseases.
For the first time this year the ESC makes an open call to broaden the pool of contributors and give topic experts the opportunity to volunteer to be part of the 2024 ESC Guideline Task Forces. The aim is to promote individual excellence while constituting multidisciplinary and inclusive Task Forces.
The development process of these guidelines, which includes writing and multiple rounds of voting and review, will take approximately 24 months and will require candidates to be fully committed to the project, while complying with ESC procedures and timelines.
Candidates must have demonstrated expertise, and have clinical and academic experience, in the field of the chosen topic.
If you are interested in joining one of the 2024 ESC Guidelines Task Forces, please complete the application form and upload your CV. Upon submission of your application, if not already on file, you will be asked to fill out your Declaration of Interest (DOI) to facilitate the application review process.
All applications will be reviewed and considered by the ESC.
Application deadline: 28 February
